Helene wants you and your dog to enjoy each other and understand one another. She sees training not as a luxury or one time event but as a necessity for a harmonious relationship. Helene will work with you to develop a plan that will provide the tools to work with your dog so that he becomes the well-behaved dog you are looking for.

PRIVATE TRAINING

Helene offers private sessions at the pet parent’s home or at her own home.  If appropriate, special arrangements can also be made to meet at Good Choice Dog Training in Albany.  Helene is following Covid-19 government guidance by wearing a mask and expecting owners to do likewise.  The preference is to meet outdoors during this difficult pandemic time or in a space that is open and well ventilated.

GROUP CLASSES

Helene is not currently teaching group classes but welcomes the opportunity to work with private owners who have a few friends who would like to work on some specific behaviors together assuming there is an appropriate venue available.

ADOPTION

Helene loves to guide people seeking to adopt a new dog and has many contacts in rescue in the Capital District area.
